Storybook Physiotherapy is a private fee for service; however your child may be eligible for a rebate based on the funding options as listed below.
Rebates & Funding:
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
We can provide services to:
- plan managed families
- agency managed families
We charge in accordance with the standard NDIS rates for all families to ensure we provide a fair service for all NDIS clients.
Rates are as follows:
- Capacity Building Supports = $193.99 /per session
- Travel costs are billed according to the NDIS rates
- Non face-to-face support are in accordance with the NDIS price guide, we charge for non face-to-face support in 6 minute increments (eg care team meetings, exercise programs, equipment research, liaising with team members, reports)
Medicare
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of up to 5 sessions per calendar year if your child has a chronic condition (>6 months duration). Your GP is able to refer you for this under the Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called the EPC plan). This reduces the out of pocket cost per session. Please note we charge a gap fee so you will have some out of pocket expenses. Medicare rebate per session is $56.00
Private Health Fund
Fees may be claimed through Your private insurance extras cover. The amount may vary depending on your plan and insurer.

Clinic Fees
Storybook Physiotherapy is a private fee for service clinic. Accounts are payable on the day of consultation. Please note an initial 25% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your appointment.
For virtual consultations the fee amounts are the same and are paid at the time of booking.

Initial Consultation (60 minutes) $200
Initial assessment, including report

Subsequent Appointments (45 minutes) $190
Follow up sessions, including updated recommendations and/or home exercise programs

Virtual Developmental Assessements (30 minutes) $150
Virtual meeting to provide personalised guidance to support your child's development needs
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you notify us if you are unable to attend an appointment prior to your childโs appointment. Cancellations less than 24 hours or a no show will incur a full service charge.
