School Aged Children

At storybook physiotherapy we offer dedicated services for school-aged children, focusing on their well-being and developmental needs. We tailor our approach to meet the unique requirements of each child, helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve important milestones.

Our team of experts is committed to promoting physical growth, improving fine and gross motor skills, and ensuring that school-aged children can engage in purposeful play while building a strong foundation for their future.

Whether it’s addressing specific challenges or enhancing overall well-being, Tamara can provide the support and care that school-aged children need to thrive and succeed.

Initial consultation

We start the journey with an initial evaluation for each child, a crucial step in understanding their unique needs. During this evaluation, we dive into your child’s health history, assess their functional abilities, discuss existing and potential challenges, and define your gross-motor objectives.

After this initial evaluation, we provide you with a personalised home exercise program and a recommended care plan, tailored to your child’s specific requirements.

Subsequent appointments

Subsequent appointments are 45-minute sessions that we customise to your child’s individual needs. These sessions are designed to help your child achieve their gross motor goals, enhance their physical function, and improve their overall quality of life. At the end of each session, we may provide updated recommendations and home exercise programs to continue promoting progress, ensuring your child’s developmental journey remains on the right track.
