Our paediatric physiotherapy services for toddlers and pre-schoolers are tailored to nurture your child’s early development. We provide specialised care and support to enhance their physical growth, fine and gross motor skills, and overall well-being. Storybook Physiotherapy is dedicated to helping your child overcome developmental challenges, ensuring they reach important milestones while engaging in purposeful play and building a strong foundation for their future.
Initial consultation
We start the journey with an initial evaluation for each child, a crucial step in understanding their unique needs. During this evaluation, we dive into your child’s health history, assess their functional abilities, discuss existing and potential challenges, and define your gross-motor objectives.
After this initial evaluation, we provide you with a personalised home exercise program and a recommended care plan, tailored to your child’s specific requirements. We also assess your child’s suitability for CME therapy, a common inquiry from families, ensuring that all necessary resources are in place to support your child on their path to achieving the developmental milestones discussed during your session.
Subsequent appointments
Subsequent appointments are 45-minute sessions that we customise to your child’s individual needs. These sessions are designed to help your child achieve their gross motor goals, enhance their physical function, and improve their overall quality of life. At the end of each session, we may provide updated recommendations and home exercise programs to continue promoting progress, ensuring your child’s developmental journey remains on the right track.
